Rebar > Draw

Overview of Functions

After defining the 'Rebar plane' at any position and direction for the selected objects (1D, 2D), create rebars and cross bars.

The modeling process for rebars is as follows:

Step 1. Use the 'Draw rebar' function to select the target object and define the rebar plane.

Step 2. Use Rebar Draw Mode and draw a crossbar profile and a rebar profile on the plane.

Step 3. The rebar profile is created into a group of crossbars with the Array function, and the rebars are arranged in respect to the target object.

Details of Functions

Setting Tab

Select target member

Select an object that rebars will be placed.

Select reference member

Select additional objects as a reference to place rebars properly.

Vertex and edges of the referenced object can be selected but there is no constraint relationship between the reference and created rebars.

Define rebar plane

Define a plane to draw rebars.

In order to start the draw rebar mode, define a plane and select the direction by clicking red or blue arrows for the array.

The plane can be defined by one of the methods(3 points, By select, Select Rebar Plane).

  • 3 Points : Define a plane by picking three points on the work plane.

  • By Select : Define a plane by selecting a face on the work plane.

  • Select Rebar Plane : Define a plane by selecting a rebar created already.
